It is easy to forget when caught up in the glamour and collectability of, as well as the huge enthusiasm and following for, GT and GS Falcons that the Falcons and Fairmonts were also sold as transportation. So, here are some photos of ‘standard’ cars.

Note the air deflector on the rear of the roof, designed to deflect air down across the rear window and so clear it of rain water and spray. Also, the storgae area under the boot floor.
