TC Cortina

Here is an interesting car, a Ford TC Cortina. Ford in Australia manufactured the Escort, the Cortina and the Capri locally. They assigned their characteristic two letter code numbers to the Cortina range. What we would call the early MkIII Cortina was the TC, and the face and ash lift MkIII was know as the TC. Perhaps, of most interest was ford Australia’s decision to fit the 250ci straight six engine to the ‘little’ Cortina. Yes, a 4.2 litre engine.

Far from home in rainy Scotland. Nice to see one in the U.K.
